Renuvion (J-Plasma) is a minimally invasive procedure for skin tightening. We use this technology to cause an immediate skin contraction which improves and tightens the skin improves laxity and causes skin shrinkage.
Renuvion technology has now allowed specialists to treat areas that previously we could not treat due to fear of loose skin.
We are the only ones in Connecticut to implement Renuvion tightening plasma liposuction technology into our body contouring practice.
Plasma Liposuction Procedures
Awake Liposuction Plasma: This is commonly used in the abdomen, to treat loose neck skin, loose arm skin, loose back skin, loose knee skin, labiaplasty, and loose inner thigh skin. It takes about 60 minutes to 120 minutes with minimal down time.
Mini Tummy Tuck: Unlike the traditional tummy tuck that involves the muscles and moving the belly button we can tighten the skin and remove any extra skin in the bikini line.
Mini Arm lift & Thigh Lift: Unlike the full arm lift and tight life, we can perform mini lifts with hidden incisions unlike the longer incision and then use plasma to tighten the skin.
Plasma Skin Tightening
To address loose skin in common areas such as the abdomen skin, arm skin, back skin, neck skin, and inner thigh skin we can tighten the skin under local anesthesia and oral pain medications with no downtime. We use the plasma to tighten the skin and sculpt the area. Most patients return to work in 2-3 days. Immediate results are visible within a week of surgery with maximal results visible at about 3 months.
Neck Liposuction With Plasma Skin Tightening Done Under Local Anesthesia
Minimally invasive awake Liposuction of the neck with plasma skin tightening can give your neck a slimmer and tighter appearance and permanently remove the fat using liposuction by first using tumescent numbing fluid, then melting the fat using ultrasound technology, and then permanently remove the fat. This gives your neck a slimmer shape and contours all done under local anesthesia. To address the loose skin this is then followed by tightening the neck skin by using plasma radiofrequency energy which causes immediate skin contraction. 10% of contraction is noticed immediately and the remaining ~60% skin contraction happens over the next 3 months. This is all done under local anesthesia which means faster recovery and less downtime.
